Unfortunately my internal DNS server has packed up and I haven't got around to reconfiguring it, which has meant that I am now using the Windows HOSTS file more than I would like. Never mind.
Anyway, to save fiddling around with opening Notepad as administrator and then navigating to the file, How To Geek has got a very handy tutorial on how to setup a shortcut to take you straight there.
